The creation of plant varieties at the Plant Selection Center and their submission to testing for registration in the State Register is carried out in 2 ways:
Cultivars obtained through individual selection from germplasm obtained from international organizations such as CIMMYT (International Center for Wheat and Maize Improvement), ICARDA (International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas) and Agricultural Research Institute.
2. In order to create varieties with complex characteristics (tolerant to drought and salt, resistant to diseases and pests, high grain quality, resistant to lodging, etc.) new cultivars obtained from lines stabilized at later stages of the breeding process.
